Refund & Return Policy
Overview
At SSEA India, we sell high-precision optical instruments that are expensive, carefully tested and packed. Due to the nature of our products, we generally do not accept returns or issue refunds for change-of-mind purchases. However, we are committed to making things right if a product is damaged in transit or arrives with missing parts.
Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.
1. General Policy — No Returns on Change of Mind
We do not accept returns or process refunds for:
- Change of mind after purchase
- Products that have been used, assembled or modified
- Products returned without prior written approval from SSEA India
- Damage caused by incorrect use, improper storage or accidental handling after delivery
2. When You CAN Claim — Transit Damage or Missing Parts
We will assess and process a claim ONLY in the following two situations:
Situation A — Product damaged during transit
If your product arrives physically damaged due to courier mishandling, you are eligible to raise a claim.
Situation B — Missing parts or accessories
If your package arrives with parts, accessories or components missing from the order, we will send you the missing items.
3. Mandatory Requirements to Raise a Claim
Condition 1 — Report within 24 hours of delivery (strict deadline)
You must contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order. Claims raised after this window will not be entertained under any circumstances. Check your package immediately upon delivery.
Condition 2 — Unboxing video is mandatory for damage claims
For transit damage claims, you must provide a clear, uninterrupted unboxing video showing:
- The sealed package before opening
- The full unboxing process from start to finish — the video must not be cut or edited
- The damaged product and visible damage clearly captured on video
- The packaging material and box condition
Claims without a complete, unedited unboxing video will not be processed. This is a strict requirement to protect both parties.
Condition 3 — Photographs required
In addition to the video, share clear photographs of:
- The damaged product from multiple angles
- The outer packaging (box, tape, labels)
- The invoice or order confirmation
4. How to Submit a Claim
To raise a claim, email us at sandhurana4455@gmail.com within 24 hours of delivery with:
- Your full name and order details
- A description of the damage or missing items
- Your unboxing video (for damage claims) — upload to Google Drive or YouTube (unlisted) and share the link
- Photographs as listed above
Alternatively, you may also contact us on (+91) 80767 31023 during business hours (Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST) to initiate the process, but written documentation (email with video and photos) is still mandatory.
5. What Happens After You Submit a Claim
Once we receive your claim with all required documents:
- Our team will review the video and photographs within 2–3 business days.
- For confirmed transit damage: we will arrange a replacement unit or resolve the issue based on product availability.
- For missing parts: we will dispatch the missing components to your address at no additional cost.
- If the claim does not meet our conditions, we will communicate this clearly with a reason.
We do not offer cash refunds. Resolution will be in the form of replacement or dispatch of missing parts only.
6. Items That Cannot Be Claimed
The following are not covered under our return or claim policy:
- Damage caused after delivery by the customer
- Cosmetic damage (minor scratches, marks) that do not affect product functionality
- Claims raised after 24 hours of delivery
- Claims without an unboxing video (for damage)
- Products purchased from third-party sellers or resellers
